Windows 10 edition/build: Home Single Language 19044. I have read identical complaints on Microsoft Answers forums, but so far no solution was provided. Note: Not all Prime Video titles support all features. It used to work on another laptop just fine until 2020, but now it's not available in there either. Prime Video is available via a web browser on a computer running Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, or Linux. I'm pretty sure it's some DRM stuff which is blocking 1080p on my machine, but I have no idea what. On Android app, Full HD ("HD 1080p") is available, and other users sent me screenshots where 1080p was available on their computers too, both on browser and UWP app, so the problem is definitely on my end. Performed a DISM /Restorehealth, then sfc/scannow and rebooted, and zilch. Hardware acceleration on browser is turned on, I disabled PlayReady and Widevine flags one at a time, but nothing, stream only goes up to HD resolution. Like the title says, Prime Video won't stream at 1080p resolution on my laptop, either on web (Microsoft Edge) or Windows app.
